Building a computer for a private customer, what legal forms do I need to present them with?

Question by Wine Noob: Building a computer for a private customer, what legal forms do I need to present them with?
I am building a computer for a friend of mine but i want to do everything legal. He is giving me the cash upfront to buy the hardware, then i am building it, and delivering it. I do not warranty anything after i deliver it. What legal forms would i use for this?
Any and all help is awesome!
Thanks!

A short form describing the work you are doing, the amount you two agreed on, and the fact that there is no warranty.
You don’t warranty your own labor?

Verbal agreements, although hard to prove are still legally binding.
Our society has gotten out of control with this idea of putting black and yellow caution stickers on everything under the sun. contracts to use a public restroom will be next.
He gave you the cash up front. Did he make you sign any forms? You could walk off with the cash and he would have NO PROOF. If he trust you enough that he just gave you the cash up front, then just do it. and don’t worry about any forms. He is a friend right?
