Question by Jonny: When I install a LEGAL version of windows 7 ultimate, I get this error code: 0×800700717 How do I fix it?
Please help it is a legal version which I bought but keeps comign with the same error when ‘copying files’ part

It would help to know if it’s a disc you purchased, something you downloaded and burned yourself, etc.

It would also help to know if you’re trying to use an internal or external drive to install, as well as if you’re attempting a clean install or an in-place upgrade.

And it would help to know what model computer you’re using — I believe some particular laptop models are known to have issues, for example.

There are a number of comparable error codes that can occur beginning with “0×8007″ if you want to search the web. They don’t all end with the exactly same numbers you have depending on exactly where the problem crops up.

But otherwise it would help if you can provide more info on your system and how you’re trying to install.
